O Hotel do Monte do Carmo fica num lugar mágico. Poucos lugares como este justificam que fechemos por instantes os olhos, deixando que a névoa de espiritualidade e misticismo que há séculos atrai peregrinos à ermida da Senhora do Carmo nos envolva e nos seduza. Deixamo-nos arrastar para fora do tempo e do espaço, levados pela força tremenda do penhasco onde se situa a ermida e pelo silêncio da vastidão da floresta alentejana de sobro e azinho. De olhos semi- cerrados, sentindo o magnetismo da terra e o imenso céu, sentimo-nos agradecidos por estarmos vivos, neste lugar ermo onde incontáveis gerações de humanos vêm desde o princípio dos tempos prestar votos humildes à força do espírito.
